I have spent a lifetime in books. I started out with a brief stint as a children's librarian, but found it a bit staid and moved on to publishing. I worked first at having books from the UK published domestically and then moved on to be Associate Publisher at Pantheon where I worked with some of the major intellects of our time. After 15 years in publishing, I spent 12 years at the William Morris Agency as an agent and as Vice President and Director of Foreign Rights, five years as president of my own agency, and five years as Director of Foreign Rights and an agent at Sterling Lord Literistic before ultimately joining Folio in 2010.

My clients include Newbery Honor winner Jacqueline Kelly, New York Times bestsellers Sheri Reynolds and Jill Barnett, along with Colleen Gleason, Kristina Cook, Elizabeth Wrenn and Jerri Corgiat.

What I'm looking for

Middle grade and young adult fiction, commercial women's fiction, historical fiction, mystery, biography, history, health, and lifestyle. Especially thoughtfully-written commercial novels, thrillers with international settings, and narrative non-fiction.

What I'm not looking for

Genre romance and mysteries, memoirs, traditional fantasy or science fiction.
