Mindy Pennybacker

Mindy Pennybacker is one of the foremost voices of the green movement.  She is a Senior Editor for Plenty Magazine, after having spent nearly a decade at the helm of The Green Guide, a national consumer newsletter published by the non-profit Green Guide Institute.

A graduate of Stanford, the University of Iowa Writers Workshop and the University of California, Davis, Law School, she has held writing fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Wallace Stegner program at Stanford, and the Marine Biological Laboratory at Woods Hole; published articles and stories in The Nation, The Atlantic Monthly, Sierra, The New York Times and elsewhere; and coauthored Mothers & Others Guide to Natural Baby Care (Wiley, 1999).
